Liability -

Each hospital of this State shall, and any other hospital may admit and provide all necessary emergency services and care subject to 395.1041 to any newborn infant left with the hospital in accordance with the “Safe Haven” law.

“Safe Haven” facilities or any of its licensed health care professional personnel are immune from criminal or civil liability for acting in good faith in accordance with the “Safe Haven Law”.

Nothing in this law limits liability for negligence.
